The Lady Hornets Tennis team handled Lafayette on Tuesday evening. To open a stretch of six straight home duals over the next three weeks, the Lady Hornets Tennis Team took down the visiting St. Joe Lafayette Irish with an overall team score of 6-3. That improves the team to 3-0 in MEC play to start the year.
Rylee Washburn and Izzy Garr won in the No. 1 Doubles slot with a score of 8 games to 5. The No. 2 Doubles team of seniors Cami Carpenter and Madison Kieffer fell in a nail biting match 6 games to 8. Up on the middle court the No. 3 Doubles team of Bryton BeVelle and Anna Pfaff strongly won their matchup 8 games to 4.

Cami Carpenter won the No. 1 matchup against Brooklyn Lorenz 8-3.
Rylee Washburn beat No. 2 Erinn Lotspeich 8-2.
Izzy Garr won the No. 3 matchup 8-4.
Bryton BeVelle lost the No. 4 singles matchup 6-8.
Madison Kieffer lost to No. 5 Faith Scheerer 0-8.
Micah Crowe won the No. 6 match 8-2.
