A homeless man was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center by the Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday afternoon. Forty-seven-year-old Jason Lee Schowengert was arrested Wednesday and on Thursday was charged with alleged trespassing, peace disturbance, and resisting arrest. He remains in custody with bond set at $1,000 cash only.
