The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Golf team finished sixth in the two-day MSHSAA Golf Tournament. John Burroughs, Springfield Catholic and MICDS finished 1-2-3. Maryville finished 5th as a team on their home course. Chillicothe was sixth, improving by 20 strokes from their first day score.
Hallie Jones shot a 102 the first day and a 97 the second day to finish 34th with a 199.
Riley Brobst shot a 104 the first day and a 105 the second day to finish 50th with a 209.
Gabby Hapes improved from a 116 the first day to a 105 the second day to finish tied for 69th with a 221.
Maddi Lamp went from a 113 the first day to a 108 the second day to also finish tied for 69th with a 221.
Hannah Haakonstad improved from a 124 the first day to a 117 the second day to tie for 75th place out of 91 golfers with a 241.
Placings for other KCHI area golfers included Sam Cornelius of Hamilton finishing in sixth place behind five golfers from private schools. Cornelius shot an 84 the first day and an 82 the second day for a 166.
Werthen Gass of Trenton tied for 28th place with a 192.
Ally Johnson of Gallatin finished tied for 41st place with a 202.
Laken Sattman of Brookfield finished in 49th place with a 208.
Demi Downey of Brookfield finished tied for 61st place with a 216.
Springfield Catholic golfers held the top two individual places with a 154 and a 156.
