A Transportation Forum to discuss Proposition D will be held in Chillicothe, Tuesday afternoon at the Chillicothe Fire Department. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner and former Transportation Commission member, Ed Douglas, will emcee the event that will include representatives from MoDOT. Douglas says Proposition D is a proposal to increase the fuel tax in the state of Missouri.
Douglas says more funding for MoDOT means more funding for the local areas.
If you have questions about Proposition D, which is on the November 6th ballot, this forum is an opportunity to hear from those involved and to ask questions. The Transportation Forum in Chillicothe is Tuesday at 4:00 pm at the Chillicothe Fire Station.
