The Livingston County Library offers a program – Healthy Living for your Brain and Body next Tuesday.
Monica Holmer says, for centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights about how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Library patrons have an opportunity to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. They can also use hands-on tools to help incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
Brenda Gregg of the Heart of America chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will present the program, with a Q&A following.
Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research is designed for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to age as well as possible. This program is free and no registration is required.
