Tuesday is election day and voters will head to the polls for the Mid Term Elections. This will include a race for the US Senate, 6th District House, and state offices that include State Auditor and 7th District House seat. There are also seven issues on the ballot. Polls are open Tuesday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm

Livingston County Clerk and Election Authority Sherry Parks says voter turnout is expected at about 60%, as absentee voting has been up from the last mid-term election.
Parks reminds everyone to please bring some form of identification with you when you head to the polls, as it will speed up the process. If you are not sure where you need to vote in Tuesday’s election, call the Livingston County Clerk’s office at 646-8000, ext 3.
