The Chillicothe Fire Department is making use of a Highway Information Sign that is provided to the region. Fire Chief Darrell Wright says it is the same type electronic roadside of signs MoDOT uses for worksites and other safety information.
Wright says this is a regional asset and the Chillicothe Fire Department is the caretaker of the sign. He says it may occasionally travel to other communities as it is needed.
