Three Injured In Two Grundy County Crashes

Two crashes in Grundy County Thursday left three injured.

At about 5:00 pm, Troopers in Grundy County responded to Route Z, two miles north of Farmersville, where a vehicle ran off the east side of the road.  The report states the driver, 46-year-old Stephanie L. Frey of Trenton was northbound.  She overcorrected and went off the west side of the road, crossed the road again and her vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Frey and her passenger, a six-year-old boy, were both taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries.  They were properly restrained.

 

A two-vehicle crash on Highway 6, 5 miles west of Trenton left one passenger with minor injuries.  State Troopers responded to the crash that occurred at about 1:55 pm.  According to the report, 22-year-old Dallas W. Lentz of Jamesport was southbound on SW 52nd Avenue, while 35-year-old Kolby W. Hoerrmann of Milan was eastbound on Highway 6.  Lentz failed to yield and pulled into the path of the other vehicle.  Neither driver was injured in the crash.  A passenger in the Hoerrmann vehicle, 32-year-old Jennifer L. Hoerrmann, had minor injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
