Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the first half of June includes several arrests and investigations.

June 10th, deputies responded to the 14000 block of State Highway C for an investigation into harassment. A report was forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

June 12th, a deputy reported findings into an investigation on counterfeit money being passed in the 700 block of Webster Street. Investigation continues.

June 12th, a deputy took a report of a stolen firearm from the 11000 block of State Highway J in Hale. Investigation continues.

Arrests:

June 2nd, arrested TWO listed on our Most Wanted section.  34-year-old Kayla Sayers of Chillicothe and 48-year-old William Helm of Chillicothe.  During these arrests, suspected controlled substances were located resulting in additional pending charges on both Sayers and Helm.

June 6th, 48-year-old Anthony Roberts of Kansas City was arrested for alleged driving while revoked/suspended.

June 6th, 52-year-old Michael Aleman of Chillicothe was taken into custody to serve a 5-year prison sentence for possession of a controlled substance.

June 6th, 29-year-old Gary Calvert of Chillicothe was taken into to serve a 4-year prison sentence for failing to register as a sex offender.

June 6th, 49-year-old Adam Murphy of Chillicothe was taken into custody to serve a 3-year prison sentence for assault.

June 6th, 47-year-old Jodi Bagwell of Kansas City was arrested on a warrant for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

June 6th, 38-year-old Jamie Glenn of Liberty was arrested on a warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged delivery of controlled substance.

June 13th, 32-year-old Joseph Sewell of Brookfield was arrested for alleged no valid license.

June 14th, 51-year-old Robert Johnson of Dawn, was arrested on a warrant for alleged failing to register as a sex offender.

June 14th, 23-year-old Leo Marquess of Marshall was arrested for alleged speeding – exceeding the posted speed limit 26+.

June 15th 19-year-old Jonas Miller of Warrenton was arrested for alleged exceeding the posted speed limit 26+.
