A two-vehicle crash on US 65, five miles south of Chillicothe left one driver injured Thursday morning. State Troopers report the crash occurred on US 65 at LIV 416 at about 11:45 am. According to the report, both vehicles were southbound on US 65 and 75-year-old Judy Fraizer of Chillicothe began to slow to make a turn and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 91-year-old Donald Bevelle of Chillicothe.
Bevelle was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
State Troopers in Caldwell County arrested a Brookfield man Thursday evening. Twenty-five-year-old Nathan Harrah of Brookfield was arrested at 5:32 on a Linn County warrant for alleged speeding. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the posting of bond.
