A Livingston County Deputy, Taylor West, was awarded Officer of the Year (Small Agency) by the Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Advisory Council. The award was presented at the annual awards banquet in Columbia. Deputy West was nominated for the honor by Chief Deputy Michael Claypole. Claypole says Deputy West exemplifies public service in so many ways from her dedication to traffic safety to her commitment to educating children on law enforcement.
He went on to say ”Livingston County citizens can rest easy knowing officers like Taylor West are here to serve and protect them.”
