The Livingston County Health Center Board of Directors was asked to consider accepting the resignation letter submitted on behalf of Dr Hulett, by his wife. Clayton Vadnais asked Attorney Robert Cowherd to provide an opinion if she could write the letter.
It is unlikely the letter would be challenged.
The discussion continued for fifteen minutes before a vote was taken. The vote was Doug Doughty and Darlene Hughes voting yes and Sonja Daley and Clayton Vadnais voting no. With a tie vote, no action was taken and Dr Hulett remains on the board.
The board approved the tax rate of .3389 per $100 valuation following a public hearing.
The board approved a meeting time change for the September Board Meeting. The board members will meet at 3:30 pm on September 24th. The change allows health center staff to attend a cardiovascular meeting in Chillicothe.
The final item on the agenda was to work on the bylaws, and the board made it through the first two sections.
