Street Closing For Concrete Repairs
A portion of Country Club Drive is closed for concrete repairs. M&M Utilities has closed the street from Broken Arrow Road to Arcadia Road through September 6th. The closure is part of the Chillicothe Street Department concrete repair project. The project total is $36,500.

Woman Serving Life Sentence Died At Chillicothe Prison
A woman held at the Chillicothe Correction Center died Monday morning at the prison. 74-year-old Connie Sanders-Ford was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and armed criminal action from McDonald County. She had been held in prison since 2016. Sanders-Ford died of apparent natural causes.
