A Gallatin man charged with 30 crimes ranging from Assault to Possession of Child Pornography to Sexual Misconduct, to Child Molestation, to Statutory Rape and Statutory Sodomy, Sexual Exploitation of a child and Sexual Trafficking of a Child, Enticement to Endangering the Welfare of a Child has entered a guilty plea in Daviess County Court.
Scott A. Marriot agreed to a plea deal with the state Prosecutor that includes a guilty plea on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor Child, Child Molestation, Statutory Sodomy, and possession of Child Pornography.
Under the agreement, the prosecutor would drop all other charges in the two cases filed against Marriott In Daviess County.
The Prosecuting Attorney has also recommended a CAP of 30 years of prison time for Marriott.
