Farmers Electric Cooperative will hold its annual meeting on September 24th. The meeting will be held at their Chillicothe Warehouse. As part of the meeting members will consider amending several bylaws.
An election will be held for three directors for the cooperative. The nominations received include:
- For District 1 – Daviess, Harrison, Gentry & Dekalb Counties – Toni Cox of Jamesport.
- For District 4 – Livingston and Grundy Counties – Sherry Jones of Dawn and Tony Fgg of Chillicothe.
- For District 5 – Carroll and Lafayette Counties – Glen Waters of Norborne.
Members will also elect a committee on nominations, with one person from each district.
Members have the option of early online voting through September 20th or they can vote in the Drive Thru voting and registration. The drive-thru registration is from 4:00 to 6:15 pm, with the meeting starting at 6:30 pm.
