Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Eighty-eight calls for service on Monday are reported by the Chillicothe Police Department.

8:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to property damage in the 10 block of Webster St.  A vehicle had struck a retaining wall causing damage and left the scene. Officers took a report of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash.

11:57 a.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. Suspects have been identified and charges are pending.

12:15 p.m., Officers at the Police Department took a report of possible child abuse/neglect. The investigation continues.

12:26 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 400 block of Martin St.

2:09 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle injury traffic crash at N. Washington St. at Park Ln.  A vehicle failed to stop for a red light and collided with another causing damage to both vehicles. Moderate injuries were reported to both drivers, who were transported by ambulance to the hospital. One driver was cited for failure to stop at a steady red light involving a crash.

6:54 p.m., Officers arrested a 21-year-old man in the 400 block of W. Jackson St. on a Carroll County warrant for child abuse/neglect and endangering the welfare of a child. The man was held with bond set at $2,500.00 cash only. He was transported to Carroll County.
