Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report of investigations and arrests for the past month includes

Incident Reports:

November 24th, Livingston County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 400 block of North Third Street in Wheeling for a domestic disturbance.  A suspected person had left the residence. The investigation showed one victim had injuries from the incident.

December 2nd, Livingston County Sheriff’s Department took a theft report from the 19000 of LIV 351. One firearm was stolen from the home. A suspect was identified and charges are sought.

Arrests:

November 20th, William Reed, 40, Chula, turned himself in on a warrant for property damage first degree. Reed posted $1,000 cash bond and was released with a new court date.

November 24th, Huseyin Das, 48, Turkey, was arrested for traveling 111 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 at LIV 233. Das was processed and released on summons after posting $250 cash bond.

December 5th, Deputies arrested Kayla Jones on a Livingston County warrant on the charge of alleged possession of a controlled substance. Jones was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

December 5th, deputies arrested Christopher Brockmeier on a Livingston County warrant for a probation violation on the charge of driving while revoked/suspended. Brockmeier was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

December 5th, LCSO arrested Curtis Bassett on a Livingston County warrant on the charge of alleged driving while revoked/suspended. Curtis was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

December 5th, Deputies arrested Lester Hines on a Livingston County warrant for alleged possession of a controlled substance. Hines was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

December 11th, Deputies served a warrant on Ricky Young.  He posted bond and released.

December 14th, Deputies and Troopers went to a home on LIV 351 to serve an Audrain County warrant on Trent Edwards for alleged hit and run. Edwards was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
