City To Hire Construction Manager For Police Facility

While the City of Chillicothe is working with architects on the design of a new Chillicothe Police Facility, they are also working to hire a Construction Manager.  City Administrator Roze Frampton explains the responsibilities of that position.

Will work to provide a better cost estimate for materials.

Frampton says they will also work through the construction phase.

From bidding to construction through to the end.

The city advertised for proposals and those interested needed to attend a meeting.  Ten proposals were received, but Frampton says only seven attended the meeting.  A decision on the Construction Manager is expected by the June 10th Council meeting.
