A Carrollton man was involved in an accident that took the life of a Kansas woman Monday morning on Missouri 31 in Dekalb County. State Troopers report 51 year old Cherri Edwards of Troy, Kansas died at the scene of the accident that happened about 11:30 am. According to the report, Edwards was westbound on Route P and entered the intersection at Missouri 31 without yielding and was struck on the drivers side by a semi driven by 62 year old Thomas Belcher of Carrollton.
Belcher was not injured in the accident.
