The Chillicothe Hornets boys tennis team qualified three players to the sectional round in Class 1. In singles Anthony Trantham faced Savannah’s Cole Horton. Horton won the match in 6-0, 6-0. The Hornets also had a doubles team competing, with Jadon Collins and Joshua Adams, they were matched up against Noah Gould and Brighton Kurre of Savannah. Chillicothe’s Collins and Adams played back and forth with the Savannah duo but ultimately the Savages won 6-3, 6-2. The Chillicothe Hornets boys tennis season comes to an end but Coach Weston Baker was beyond proud of his teams heart and effort this season. Congratulations on a great season Hornets tennis!
