Memorial Day Travel

The Memorial Day holiday is a big travel weekend.  The Missouri Highway Patrol says it kicks off the summer travel season.  Sargent Shane Hux says motorists should expect changes to traffic patterns.

Slow moving vehicles, pick-ups pulling boats and campers as well as motorcycles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Sgt Hux says to make sure your vehicle is prepared before any summertime trips.

Good brakes, tires, and working AC.

He says planning and preparation can help to ease travel concerns.
