Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department’s weekend reports include:

Saturday, 56 calls for service were handled by the officers.

8:15 AM, Officers spoke to a man who stated he was assaulted on May 24th, in the 400 block of Locust Street by another man. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

12:20 PM, Officers and Chillicothe Fire Dept. responded to 900 block of Glendale Street for an oven fire. The fire was out on arrival.

5:07 PM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Walnut Street for a report of a C&I diver.  Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

8:36 PM, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Miller for a report of suspicious activity.  Officers arrived but observed no crime occurring.

Sunday, officers handled 47 calls for service, including:

2:27 AM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Maple Street for a report of suspicious activity and someone knocking on the window of a residence.  Officers arrived on scene, but observed no crime occurring and no subjects in the area.

Other calls included stray cats, landlord and tenant issues, and a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, well-being checks, business checks, paper service, and followed up with numerous investigations.
