A single-vehicle crash in Daviess County left two with serious injuries Wednesday evening. State Troopers report the Driver, 31-year-old Jared J. Curtis of Gallatin, and passenger 26-year-old Sara Wilson of Gallatin, were both flown to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. A second passenger, 25-year-old Cheyenne M. Pettit of Chillicothe had moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
According to the report, Curtis was westbound on Prairie Avenue, south of Jamesport, and lost control. The vehicle went off the road, overturned, and struck several trees. None of the three were wearing safety belts.
