The Chillicothe Lady Hornets golf team had their first match of the season Thursday in St. Joeseph at Molia golf course. There were 10 teams at the tournament plus the host St. Joseph Central. Chillicothe finished 2nd place overall with a team score of 390. Liberty ran away with first place scoring a 355, and Staley rounded out the top 3 with a 398. The Lady Hornets top golfer on the day, Lyla Oesch shot an 85, 11 over par and just one stroke behind the tournament winner Chloe Johnston. Along with the runner-up Chillicothe also had three other golfers in the top 20 out of a field of over 60 competitors. Gracelynn Barnett was 13th with a 98, Caylee Anderson finished 15th shooting a 101, and Presley Rardon came in 19th with a score of 106.
