Senate Joint Resolution 71, sponsored by Senator Rusty Black of Chillicothe will be on the November ballot as Amendment 6. Black says this asks voters to consider the legislation to provide for the levying of certain costs and fees to support the salaries and benefits.
Including sheriffs, prosecuting attorneys, and circuit attorneys.
Black says this ballot question comes about because of a judge’s ruling.
