Kearney Man Has Serious Injuries In Crash

A Kearney man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Caldwell County Tuesday afternoon.  Seventy-nine-year-old Jerry L. Webb was flown to Truman Medical Center following the crash on Route H, west of Kingston.  According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Webb was eastbound on Route H and ran off the southside side of the road, overcorrected and went off the northside of the road, began to rotate and struck a stump, causing the vehicle to overturn, ejecting Web.  He was not wearing a safety belt.
