The Lady Hornets golf team traveled to Maryville on Monday to compete at Mozingo Lake Golf Course along with 14 other schools. In the two-player per team best ball format, Chillicothe’s top team of Lyla Oesch and Presley Rardon combined to shoot a 90 good for 2nd place amongst all the teams, just five shots behind South Harrison’s top pair who claimed first at the tournament.
Individually Maryville’s Alayna Pargass shot the best score with an 89. Chillicothe had 3 athletes in the top 10 in the tournament field of 78 competitors. Gracelynn Barnett finished 5th with a 97, Lyla Oesch was 6th with a 98, and Caylee Anderson shot a 100, resulting in 9th place in the Maryville Tournament.
