An Illinois woman had minor injuries and her vehicle was totaled in a crash with a Semi Truck on US 36, east of Brookfield. The crash occurred Thursday at about 5:32 pm as 21-year-old Precious M. Griffin of Normal, IL was westbound and a westbound semi attempted to change lanes and merged into the Griffin vehicle, causing her to lose control and travel into the median.
Griffin was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the semi is unknown as they left the scene of the crash.
