An Avalon man was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center Monday for alleged hindering the prosecution. Fifty-three-year-old Steven Ray Sayers was arrested for alleged giving a false name and on a Chariton County warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged non-support. Total bond is set at $3,000 cash only.
