Mental Health Services & Esser Funds

The Chillicothe R-II School District is working to provide mental health services using ESSER grant funds.  Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says they will need Memorandums of Understanding or MOU’s from the organizations providing services.

The Immediate Responsive Services Grant using ESSER funds.

The School District needed to have the MOU’s in place before the ESSER Deadline of September 30th.

Wiebers says the district has used ESSER funds in other ways in the district.

The majority was used for the CES Construction.

Dr Wiebers says the Elementary School project was moved up by two years because the ESSER funding was available.
