The Lady Hornets went to Cameron on Monday for a golf match against the host Dragons along with Lawson and Savannah. It was a competitive 9-hole contest as all 4 schools finished within 21 strokes of each other. Chillicothe, who was paced by Lyla Oesch and Gracelynn Barnett each shooting a 48, finished runners-up behind Savannah. The Lady Hornets scoring was rounded out by Presley Rardon with a 53 and Ava Lance shooting a 57 for a team total of 206. Savannah was 5 shots better, scoring a 201, with the Lady Savages top golfer on the day, Riley Rosenbaum scoring a quad best 45. Savannah’s Rylee Jones and Cameron’s Jaylee Cruickshank were one shot behind with a 46, and the Lady Hornets top pair placed tied for 5th individually.
