The Chillicothe Hornets Boys Basketball “Twin Turbos” of Westley Brandsgaard and CJ Pfaff once again helped Chillicothe to a 54-41 win over Plattsburg at NCMC on Saturday.
Chillicothe had two long runs in the game, an 11-0 run in the first quarter and a 15-0 run in the fourth quarter to help build a 20 point lead by the middle of the fourth quarter.
Hornets Coach Tim Cool said his defense played well to keep Plattsburg contained.
Chillicothe’s Junior “Twin Turbos” again boosted Chillicothe. Westley Brandsgaard had 19 points, five rebounds and five assists. CJ Pfaff had 15 points and eight rebounds in the game.
Other Hornet scorers were Bradley Riley with eight points, Hayden Simmer and Hunter Swift with four each, William Perry and Michael Riddle with two each and playing time for Hunter Rader, Matt Anthony, Eli Cross, Carter Allen and Matt Smith. Chillicothe improved to 4-2 and Plattsburg fell to 6-2 on the season.
Both Chillicothe Varsity teams are in action at home tonight when they host Marshall. The Girls game is at 5:30pm with the boys to follow around 7:00pm. Both can be heard live on KCHI FM and AM and on line at KCHI.com.
