The Chillicothe Lady Hornets went on the road Tuesday night to take on St. Joseph Christian. It was a battle tonight in St. Joe for first time in CHS history, the Lady Hornets defeated Lions. It was a long night of volleyball as the match went five sets, but Chillicothe emerged victorious 15-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9.
Coach Beetsma was impressed by her teams fight in their first 5 set match of the season saying, “good to see us fight through it, even though things weren’t naturally going in our favor. We worked hard for that W.”
Chillicothe is now 21-3 on the season and has their final regular season game of the year Thursday hosting Maryville.
