Chapman Makes Court Appearance

A 20-year-old Chillicothe man charged with alleged Statutory Rape; 2 cts Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy-Deviate Sexual Intercourse; and Child Molestation, Henry Lafayette Laprade Chapman, was in court Wednesday for a Bond Appearance.  A special prosecuting attorney, Erik Tate has been assigned.

Chapman had been held with no bond allowed.  The court amended bond to $15,000 cash only, with conditions that include: No contact with the victim through any manner or means, House arrest, GPS, No Contact with anyone under the age of 14 except son.

His next court appearance is for Preliminary Hearing on December 11th.
