New Stop Sign Needed At 2nd and Walnut

A new stop sign will be added at the intersection of 2nd and Walnut.  Chillicothe Police Department Captain Grider says the traffic survey supports the need.

Place a stop sign on westbound 2nd Street at Walnut.

Captain Grider says there are already Yield signs on Walnut at 2nd.

An ordinance is required to place the new stop sign, which will be presented at the next Council meeting.  Street Superintendent Jeff Gilespie says once the ordinance is approved, the sign will be installed the following day.
