Federal Funding To Connect To High Speed Internet

Federal Funding will help to connect residents and businesses in area counties to high-speed internet.  The USDA announced $313 million in funding to help in 18 states.  One Missouri company, Grand River Mutual Telephone Corporation, was awarded $11,145,525 in grant funding.  The funding will be used to deploy a fiber-to-the-premises network to provide high-speed internet.  This network will benefit 450 people, three businesses, and 139 farms in Daviess, Gentry, and Harrison counties.
