Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Chillicothe Police Department responded to 52 calls for service on Monday.  Those calls include:

At 9:10 a.m., Officers took a report of property damage in the 1000 block of Broadway St.

At 12:48 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a business alarm in the 700 block of S. Washington St.

At 1:53 p.m., Officers began an investigation of assault and armed criminal action after officers were contacted by two juveniles who had been shot in the face by a BB gun. The juveniles gave the Officers a name and description of the suspect, who was also a juvenile. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.  Officers located the juvenile suspect near Missouri Ave. and Polk St. where they conducted a traffic stop. The weapon believed to be used in the assault was recovered and the juvenile suspect was detained and later turned over to the Juvenile Office.

At 4:04 p.m., a person called the Police Department about property damage to their vehicle.

Officers also handled several calls for well-being checks and vehicles blocking the road.
