The Chillicothe Lady Hornets wrestling team competed in the Class 1 District 2 wrestling tournament at St. Charles West over the weekend. The Chillicothe Lady Hornets had one district champion and two state qualifiers during the event.
Yoo Jung Lee who is 33-3 on the season, and a defending state champion went 5-0 on the weekend in route to a district championship win against Emmy Begemann of Fulton. Tori Stoner also qualified to state with a 4th place finish in her class, going 4-2 in the meet.
As a team, Chillicothe finished 10th amongst the 33 teams at the district tournament.
