Leta Irene McNally 97, of Chillicothe, MO passed away at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, on February 24, 2025.
Leta was born to parents Frank Stilabower and Stella Miller on September 18th, 1927 in Golden City, Missouri. She worked many years at the Livingston County Courthouse in the County Clerk and Treasurer’s Office. Leta also spent many years keeping the books for Chillicothe’s grocery stores. In 1953 she married John Robert (Bob) McNally in Chillicothe.
Leta enjoyed reading, visiting with friends, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. (especially her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren) .
Leta is survived by her daughter, Beverly Hague with her husband Jack of Chillicothe. Her son, Alan Duncan with his wife Barbara of Chillicothe. Her nine grandchildren, Michael Darren, Corey Condron, Amber Richardson, Ashley Cawthon, Brian Duncan, Terry Duncan, Kasey Dial, and Adam Campbell. As well as several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One son-in-law, David Campbell and One daughter-in-law, Karrol Duncan.
Leta is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella, her husband, Bob McNally, her daughter and son, Pam Campbell and Richard Duncan. Along with two brothers and one sister.
A visitation for Leta McNally will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on February 27th at 12:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm.Burial will be held at Anderson Smith Cemetery at a later date.
