Seventy calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday. Some of the calls include:
At 12:09 pm Officers, along with Children’s Division, were called to the Chillicothe Middle School to investigate a report of child abuse. Officers were able to verify the safety of the child and gather information. The investigation is ongoing.
At 01:11 pm Officers responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Street on a report of Elderly Abuse. Officers gathered information for this case and are following up with the parties involved. An investigation of Elderly Abuse and Neglect is ongoing at this time.
At 07:26 pm Officers responded to the 800 block of South Washington Street for a woman in crisis. Officers were able to locate the 22-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and later transported to Mosaic Hospital on a 96-hour mental evaluation warrant.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
