A Canada resident was injured when he jackknifed his truck on US 36 in Caldwell County. At about 8:18 am the 54-year-old man was westbound on US 36, 4 miles west of Breckenridge, and according to the state troopers, too fast for conditions. He ran off the north side of the road struck an embankment and his truck jackknifed. The driver had minor injuries and sought treatment on his own.
