A Burn Advisory for Livingston County has been issued by the Livingston County Emergency Management. The Burn Advisory means outdoor burning is not recommended due to the dry conditions and winds gusting to near 30 miles per hour today.
The National Weather Service has also issued a RED FLAG WARNING for northwest and north central Missouri, including all of the KCHI listening area. The Red Flag Warning runs from Noon to 8:00 pm.
The Weather Service says any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
