The Carrollton Town Board will conduct a Public Hearing and Town Council meeting this evening at Carrollton City Hall. The meetings begin at 6:00 pm.
The Public Hearing is for a CDBG Grant.
Following the public hearing is the regular council session that begins with several Tabled items, including:
The 2025 budget
Amending titles for certain town officials
Amending the personnel manual
Amending a document to include fire alarms.
New business includes:
An ordinance concerning tents in residential zones as living places
An agreement to sell real estate
The Finance Department with a request for removal of unpaid Personal Property Taxes
Discussion on a Sinkhole repair
A request to use Old Places lot for overflow traffic
The My Hometown update and service agreement
An Amtrak Station update
A discussion about Carrollton Memory Gardens Cemetery
The meeting is open to the public.
A Closed Executive Session is planned for real estate and personnel matters.
