Chillicothe Police Report for Thursday

Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.  Some of the reports include:

2:58 AM, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Bryan St. for a report of a domestic disturbance.

9:47 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near 3rd and Locust Street for a moving violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving without a valid license and released with citations.

8:16 PM, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Clay Street for a report of illegal burning.  Officer made contact with a person and issued a warning for illegal burning.  The fire was extinguished.

9:17 PM, Officers near Missouri Avenue observed a driver fail to stop at a stop sign.  The driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license.  The driver was arrested and later released with citations.

10:39 PM, a traffic stop near Washington and 1st Street led to the discovery of narcotics located inside the vehicle and on the passenger’s person.  One person was arrested and later transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, made business checks, Paper Service, and followed up with numerous investigations.
