The Chillicothe Police Department handled 102 calls for service Thursday. The calls included several items from the School Resource Office.
10:20 am, School Resource Officer and Officers checking on truant subject in 100 block of Orchard Street. They had over slept.
10:45 am, School Resource Officer made a well-being check of student in 800 block of Vine Street. He was unable to contact the student, but made contact relative who would check on the child.
12:35 pm, Officer spoke with someone with concerns of possible illegal drug use in a home around their children.
4:05 pm, Officers recovered a back pack in the lot at Locust and Ann Street. School Resource Officer will return to the owner.
9:10 pm, Officers executed a Probation and Parole warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Woodward Street. James Breeden was arrested for an alleged parole violation. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
