Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Eighty-eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday, leading to one arrest and three citations issued.

7:30 AM – Officers conducted a traffic stop at a city park and Walnut St. Stop concluded with a citation for expired plates.

8:30 AM – Officers responded to a property damage report in the 200 block of Old Hwy 36 W where a semi ran over a payment drop box.

9:00 AM – Officers responded to leaving the scene of an accident in the 200 block of Washington St. Investigation ongoing.

1:26 PM – Officers responded to a theft report in the 1000 block of S Washington St where a subject stole a bottle of alcohol. Report taken.

3:44 PM – Officers responded to juvenile complaint in the 100 block of Elm St for children playing on train. Situation resolved with adults present.

4:57 PM – Officers responded to a harassment complaint involving a person on bond supervision.

8:37 PM – a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of W Business 36 resulted in the arrest of a person on a warrant from another county. They were transported to a hospital due to intoxication before they were taken to county detention.
