Chillicothe Police – Friday – Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Friday through Monday includes nearly 300 calls for service.

Friday, May 2nd

09:46 a.m., Officers met with an individual in the lobby of the Chillicothe Police Department who was turning himself in on an arrest warrant. They posted bond and were released.

10:00 a.m., officers responded to reports of a physical altercation near Jackson and Easton Streets.  The incident resulted in a local resident who sustained significant injuries and two people arrested.

10:47 a.m., Officers responded to the 900 block of Locust St. for a report of sexual abuse. Officers took a report and the investigation is ongoing.

01:58 p.m., Officers responded to the US 65 and US 36 for a 2 vehicle crash.

Saturday, May 3rd

11:18 a.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of Montgomery St. for a report of an accident.  A suspect left the scene. The investigation determined the incident was in connection with a domestic disturbance. Reports were taken for the crash and for the domestic disturbance.

03:38 p.m., Officers responded to the 1500 block of Bryan St. for a report of a domestic assault. Officers arrested a female suspect. She was later transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

09:49 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Graves St. and Green St. During the stop a K9 was called and as a result of a search of the vehicle, they located controlled substances. The driver and passenger were arrested.

Sunday, May 4th

12:48 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington St. and Curtis St. The driver was arrested for alleged DWI.  A search of the vehicle revealed controlled substances.

02:00 p.m., Officers responded to the 2600 block of Washington St. for reports of gunshot sounds. Officers patrolled the area and determined they were occurring outside of city limits.

09:26 p.m., Officers responded to the 1200 block of Jackson St. for a domestic disturbance.  A male suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.  A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

09:33 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near 2nd St. and Herriford St.  During the stop, they found a passenger had a felony arrest warrant out of Buchanan County.  He was arrested and held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

 Monday, May 5

At 4:26 p.m., Officers assisted with a medical call in the 1400 block of Alexander St.

At 4:56 p.m., Officers were dispatched for a well being check of a person slumped over into the passenger seat of a vehicle in the 700 block of S. Washington St.  Officers located and contacted the person who was found to be okay and did not need assistance.

At 6:28 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on private property in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Officers responded, contacted the people involved, and assisted in the exchange of information.

At 7:43 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible person in crisis in the 2700 block of N. Washington St.  Officers responded and located the person who agreed to go to a hospital.
