Betty Jean Zurmiller

Betty Jean Zurmiller, 66, of Milan, Missouri passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 at Saint Luke’s Hospice Home, Kansas City, Missouri, after a battle with cancer that she faced with unwavering strength and resilience. Betty grew up in Springfield, Missouri before settling in Chillicothe Missouri where she raised her sons, Hank and Wade Koehly. She was an avid gardener, a lover of animals (especially her cats), a strong Christian woman, and will be dearly missed.

Betty was born on July 23, 1958 to Lloyd H. and Ruth H. McLure Hibner in Springfield, Missouri. She is survived by her sons, Hank (Deanna) Koehly and Wade Koehly; her granddaughters, Ava and Lanie Koehly; her sister, Kara Roland, and her dear friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kyle Hibner

We will be celebrating her beautiful life in the near future and will invite all of Betty’s loved ones to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Saint Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri in her honor.

May Betty rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
