Louise Emily Jones

Louise Emily Jones, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on January 6, 2025, at her home.

 

Louise was born the daughter of Nelson Rudolph and Gladys C. (Runkle) Forbis on December 23, 1930, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Stanley Wayne Jones on October 28, 1949, in Chillicothe, Missouri. They were blessed with four daughters, Barbara Ann, Connie, Christie and Charlotte. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1990.

 

Louise was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and reading. Taking care of her family was her greatest joy.

 

She is survived by three daughters, Connie Theiss (Ed) of Chillicothe, Missouri, Christie Parrish of Chillicothe, Missouri and Charlotte Jones (Porter Robinson) of Brookfield, Missouri; six grandchildren, Todd Ashford (Angela) of Independence, Missouri, Brett Theiss (Derindea) of Austin, Texas, Adam Murphy of St. Joseph, Missouri, Michele Sales (Errol) of Polo, Missouri, Jeremiah Johnson (Slade) of Brookfield, Missouri and Lacey Johnson (Tim) of Brookfield, Missouri; fifteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley, eldest daughter, Barbara Ann Ashford; and grandson Chad Ashford.

 

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.  A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
