Mildred “Ilene” Sickler, 82 of Chillicothe Missouri passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. Ilene was born on March 5, 1943 in Trenton, MO to loving parents Ira and Mildred Snelling.
She loved spending her time reading, camping, fishing, cooking and appreciating the beauty of flowers. Ilene also enjoyed working as a hairdresser in Chillicothe.
Ilene is survived by her husband, Gene Sickler, her two children, Eddy Bowe and Sonja Roney (Lloyd Jr.). As well as her grandchildren, Felicia Martin, Stacy Dunning (Chis), Colton Green (Jenna), Kelsey Green aka “Little Britches” (Nathanial Berg), her great grandchildren, Avery Dunning, Ella Dunning, Gabriel Rucker, Valerie Rucker, Adeline Roney and Desmond Bowe. Step grandchildren Drew Roney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Russell Bowe and second husband, Victor Woods.
A graveside service for Ilene Sickler will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe, MO on May 8th, 2025 at 3pm. A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on the same day at 2pm.
